The cafe at Warley Cross in East Yorkshire, is
a long established diner on the A165 coast road, with thousands of
satisfied customers over the years, it has survived so long because it
serves good wholesome homemade food.
About the Cafe Opening Times 8:00 am till 2:00 pm monday to saturday.
8:00
am till 2:00 pm sunday.
6:00 pm to 9:00
pm thursday evening.
The cafe at Warley Cross (the 'a' is pronounced as an 'o' like Worley Cross in the local Yorkshire dialect
) has been in continuous use as a diner / eatery since 1929 catering
for generations of locals, farmers, workers from nearby companies,
drivers & travellers on this road to and from the north sea coast.
Prior to it's change of use to a cafe in 1929 it was a Coaching Inn
which may explain why it is still licensed to sell alcohol.
It has
a warm and welcoming atmosphere and is frequented by cyclists from many
cycle touring clubs, motorcycle groups, vintage car enthusiasts,
drivers, workers, business men, and families. It is the only proper
cafe on this road from either Beverley or Hull to as far as Barmston, a
distance of either 17 to 23 miles. It has an off-road carpark for about
12 vehicles, outdoor seating for a summers day, a shelter for smokers
and clean toilets.

Warley Cross, Beeford Straight, East Yorkshire - Biker's Meetings.
Biker meetings are held at the Warley Cross Cafe every Thursday evening
and are proving very popular with a steadily increasing turnout.
This cafe had always had a regular, if small following in the biking
community out for day trips to the seaside, but became an extremely
popular rendezvous spot in the 1980's for bikers to-ing & fro-ing
the Carnaby & Scarboro race circuits.
The Cafe is open 5:00 pm till about 9:00 pm for the Bikers Night on
Thursday evenings & has a special Bikers menu.
New! Sunday afternoon Biker's Meetings starting Sunday 29th March 2009 - Cafe will stay open all day !
